Treatment

Reassurance about the benign nature of neurocardiogenic syncope, avoidance of situations likely to induce an attack, and  use of simple non-drug counter-measures is often all that is required in the management of the condition. 

However, treatment with low dose medication may be necessary. 

Occasionally pacemaker implantation may be required.
